Assistant/Project Manager of the CIO Office – IT Restructuring

This was a very enriching experience for me both personally and professionally, since it was working directly with a new CIO who came from headquarters and whose objective was to transform the IT department into a service provider of added value according to the standards of the plant in Germany.

A comprehensive strategic planning of information systems was carried out that was aligned with the company’s strategic planning. With it, the new CIO raised a triumvirate of people to accompany him in the organizational restructuring and change management towards high-level internal customer service. Likewise, this new leader allowed us to interact with global leaders to align the IT department to the global and regional strategic planning of Mercedes Benz, being able to greatly expand my network of contacts and closely experience the way of working together with people whose responsibilities and experience they were at a very high level compared to what I had known up to that moment. 

This also allowed us to find synergies with Mercedes Benz operations globally and access the latest trends in technology matters in the automotive industry.
